Kashmir Power Shutdown on October 3, 4 and 6: Areas to Remain Without Electricity
Srinagar: Several areas across Kashmir are likely to experience scheduled power outages on October 3, 4 and 6 due to planned shutdowns of multiple 33 kV transmission lines, according to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL).
The scheduled shutdowns have been planned for maintenance-related works on the concerned power lines. Depending on the affected line, electricity supply will remain interrupted for up to six hours.

Theed-Shalimar 33 kV Line
Power supply will remain affected from 8 am to 2 pm on October 3 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV GIS Theed-Shalimar line.

Shadipora-HMT 33 kV Line
The scheduled shutdown of the 33 kV Shadipora-HMT line will affect power supply from 8 am to 2 pm on October 3.
