Jammu: 55-Year-Old Man Dies of Electrocution in Reasi’s Chassana Area
JAMMU: Today Sad Jammu and Kashmir Hassote area of Tehsil Chassana, district Reasi, where a 55-year-old man lost his life due to electrocution on Monday.
According to officials, the deceased has been identified as Sher Mohammad, son of Meyar Din, a resident of Hassote. They said the incident took place when Sher Mohammad was on his way to his dhoke (seasonal shelter) and accidentally came in contact with a live electric wire.
Officials confirmed that the shock was fatal, and he died on the spot. Local police have taken cognizance of the incident and have initiated an investigation into the circumstances.
