SRINAGAR: A 50-year-old man was killed and two others injured after a passenger bus collided with a Maruti Swift car near Saldi in the Bhaga area along the Reasi-Katra road on Sunday, reports said.

The accident involved a passenger bus bearing registration number JK02BB-9374 and a Maruti Swift car (JK20C-2556), leaving all three occupants of the car injured.
The injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment, where one of them later succumbed to his injuries. The other two are undergoing treatment.
The deceased was identified as Yashpal Sharma (50), a resident of Karua.
The injured were identified as Jatinder Sharma and his wife, Pooja Gupta. Both are residents of Mumbai.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further investigation.
