Dr. Khan has specifically appealed to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, and Punjab Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, urging them to intervene on humanitarian grounds.
“We request the government and relevant authorities to facilitate the quick repatriation of Azaan Ahmad’s mortal remains to Srinagar so that his family can perform the last rites with dignity and without further delay,” Dr. Khan stated.
