SRINAGAR: An unidentified woman’s body was recovered from a waterbody at Dhobighat area of Hazratbal Srinagar on Saturday, officials said.

Official sources said that, the body of a woman aged around 39 to 40 years was pulled out of the water by Hazratbal police. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated proceedings to establish the identity of the woman and ascertain the cause of death. Further investigation is underway. (KNC)
