Position: Works Supervisor (Temporary/Consolidated Basis)
The University of Jammu is inviting applications from retired government employees for the position of Works Supervisor at its Kathua Campus. This position is offered on a temporary/consolidated basis to oversee and supervise infrastructural development, maintenance, repair, and other related works at the campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Infrastructure: The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing various infrastructure projects, ensuring their timely and efficient completion.
- Maintenance and Repairs: The role includes managing maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that the campus facilities remain in optimal condition.
- Coordination with Contractors: The Works Supervisor will coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders involved in the campus development and upkeep.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Retired Government Employees: Only retired government employees are eligible to apply for this position.
- Experience in Infrastructure Supervision: Candidates with a background in supervising construction, maintenance, and repair work will be preferred.
