West Bengal Tourist Dies After Falling Unconscious at Srinagar Airport

Srinagar, Oct 23 (Times of Kashmir): A tragic incident occurred in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thursday when a male tourist from West Bengal collapsed at the Srinagar International Airport and later died despite being rushed to the hospital.

According to official sources, the deceased has been identified as Noorul Hussain, son of Kalam-ud-Din, aged around 45 years, and a resident of West Bengal. Hussain reportedly fell unconscious at the airport premises, prompting immediate medical assistance from the authorities.

He was swiftly shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated the necessary legal proceedings to ascertain the exact cause of death.

The body will be handed over to the family after completion of medico-legal formalities.
