50 Accounts Assistants Promoted and Transferred in Jammu & Kashmir
SRINAGAR/JAMMU, October 18, 2025 – The Government of Jammu & Kashmir has promoted 50 Accounts Assistants to the rank of Accountant and assigned them to new postings across various government departments.
The orders were issued by the Directorate General of Accounts & Treasuries, Finance Department. The promotions and transfers are effective immediately.
The promoted officials are now awaiting their final “orders of adjustment,” which will formalize their specific roles within their new departments. This administrative move is aimed at streamlining the state’s financial administration by filling vacant positions with newly promoted staff.
The new postings are spread throughout the government, including key offices like the Civil Secretariat, the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, and various departments such as Finance, Education, and Health.
