J&K Police Orders Transfers, Adjustments of Inspectors and Ministerial Executive Cadre
Srinagar, September 6, 2026: The Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters has issued two separate orders regarding the adjustment and transfer of police personnel across different zones, wings and units.

In Order No. 2505 of 2026, issued on September 5, 21 Inspectors (M) have been adjusted in various wings and zones following their promotion to the present rank.

According to the order, the officers have been posted as follows:

- Satish Kumar — Jammu Zone

The order also makes certain arrangements regarding Inspector (M) posts to facilitate the draw of pay, including posts attached with the Crime Branch, 7 JKAP Security Battalion and Jammu Zone.
Transfers involving Traffic Wing
In a separate Order No. 2504 of 2026, the Police Headquarters ordered the transfer of nine officers/officials of the Ministerial Executive Cadre from the Traffic Wing to different places.
Those transferred from the Traffic Wing include L Insp. (S) Ruby Dhar, SI (M) Naresh Kumar, SI (M) Ravinder Singh, SI (M) Alwinash Kumar, SI (M) Naresh Kumar, L SI (M) Ishrat Jan, SI (M) Mushtaq Ahmad, ASI (M) Mohamad Akber and HC (M) Zahid Iqbal.
They have been posted to various locations in Jammu Zone and Kashmir Zone.
The same order also transfers nine officers/officials to the Traffic Wing from different units, including L Insp. (S) Anju Pandita, SI (M) Aijaz Ahmad Dar, SI (M) Shahnawaz Ahmad, ASI (M) Ganesh Dutt, ASI (M) Rajinder Saini, ASI (M) Randhir Singh, ASI (M) Harvinder Singh, ASI (M) Shabir Ahmad and HC (M) Vikram Singh.
The orders state that the concerned personnel shall be relieved forthwith. Both orders were issued with the approval of the Director General of Police, J&K, and digitally signed by Mubassir Latifi, IPS, DIG Personnel
