Kashmir Power Shutdown: KPDCL Announces Scheduled Outages Across Several Area
Srinagar, September 8, 2026: The Kashmir power shutdown schedule for several areas has been announced by the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), with temporary electricity interruptions planned on different 33 kV lines between September 8 and September 19.
As per the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the scheduled shutdowns will affect different localities between 8 AM and 2 PM on the specified dates.
Area-Wise Kashmir Power Shutdown Schedule
September 8 — Alasteng-Nagbal (Gadoora Tapline)
Power supply will be affected in Fethapora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Shairpathri, Kachan and adjoining areas from 8 AM to 2 PM.
September 9 & 14 — Lisser-Kokernag Line
The shutdown will affect Kokernag, Vailoo, Dandipora and adjoining areas from 8 AM to 2 PM.
September 10 — Budgam Line
Affected areas include Budgam, Sabdan, Nasrullahpora, Jawalapora, Budgam Town, Ompora, SIDCO Housing Colony, Railway Station Budgam, NIFT and adjoining areas.
September 10 & 14 — Kanipora-Keller Line
Power supply will be affected in Keller, Gatipora, Moshward, Maspora, Kathahalan, Kanipora, Ganowpora, Nadpora, Balapora, Drabgam, Shadimarg, Sangerwani, Dompora and adjoining areas.
September 12 — Lisser-Hillar Line
The affected areas are Hiller, Shankerpora, Larkipora, Aarkashipora and adjoining areas.
September 14 & 17 — Lisser-Dooru Line
The shutdown will affect Dooru, Verinag, Hiller, Chowgund and adjoining areas.
September 15 — Mattan-Gopalpora Line
Power supply will be affected in Gopalpora, Kheribal, Kawarigam and adjoining areas.
September 19 — Mattan-Achabal Line
The affected areas include Achabal, Shangus, Nowgam, Khundroo, Cherpora and adjoining areas.

All the announced shutdown windows are scheduled for 8 AM to 2 PM. Residents and businesses in the listed areas should check the date applicable to their locality and make routine preparations for the temporary electricity interruption.
