According to separate orders issued on September 11, four Junior JKAS officers have been entrusted with additional responsibilities alongside their existing duties.
In Samba district, Parul Khajuria, Jr JKAS, BDO Bari Brahmana, has been given the additional charge of Block Samba. Kunal Singh, Jr JKAS, BDO Nud, will additionally look after Block Sumb.
In Rajouri district, Amjed Mehmood, Jr JKAS, BDO Dhangri, has been assigned the additional charge of Block Plangarh. Ijaz Ahmed, Jr JKAS, BDO Manjakote, will hold the additional charge of Block Panjgrain.
The officers will discharge the additional responsibilities along with their existing duties until the respective vacant posts are filled by the competent authority.
The assignments in Samba were issued through Order No. 442-DRDJ of 2026, following a communication from the Assistant Commissioner Development, Samba, dated September 9.
Similarly, the Rajouri assignments were issued under Order No. 444-DRDJ of 2026, following a letter from the Assistant Commissioner Development, Rajouri, dated September 10.
The orders are aimed at ensuring the smooth functioning of the concerned development blocks until regular arrangements are made.
