Jammu Kashmir Weather Forecast:SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience generally dry weather over the coming days, although brief spells of rain and thundershowers may occur at isolated to scattered places, the Meteorological Centre Srinagar said on Friday.

According to the latest Jammu Kashmir weather forecast, weather conditions are expected to remain mostly stable through the coming week, with occasional rainfall possible in some areas, particularly during the morning and afternoon hours.

Jammu Kashmir Weather Forecast from September 11 to 21

Director of the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, Mukhtar Ahmad, said that Jammu and Kashmir is expected to witness generally dry weather from September 11 to 13, with a brief spell of rain possible at isolated places.

From September 14 to 16, brief spells of rain or thundershowers are likely at scattered locations across Jammu and Kashmir. These spells are expected mainly during the early morning and afternoon hours.

The weather is then likely to remain generally dry from September 17 to 21, although isolated places may still experience brief spells of rain.

Farmers Advised to Continue Harvesting

The Meteorological Department has advised farmers across Jammu and Kashmir to continue their ongoing agricultural activities.

Farmers have particularly been advised to proceed with the harvesting of apple and paddy crops, along with other agricultural operations, while keeping local weather conditions in mind.

The latest forecast is particularly important for farmers in Kashmir Valley, where apple harvesting is currently underway in several districts.

Srinagar and Kashmir Weather Outlook

For Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir, weather conditions are expected to remain largely dry during most of the forecast period. However, isolated or scattered rain and thundershowers cannot be ruled out between September 14 and 16.

Residents and farmers are advised to stay updated with the latest weather advisories issued by the Meteorological Centre Srinagar.
