SRINAGAR: In a tragic incident, a well-known cricketer from south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, Enayat Malik, a resident of Akingam Achabal, passed away on Saturday after suffering a cardiac arrest, officials said.
According to sources, Malik suddenly collapsed at his residence and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The untimely demise of the young sportsman has sent shockwaves across the local cricket community, with tributes and condolences pouring in from players, fans, and residents across the Valley.
Malik was regarded as one of the most promising cricketers from south Kashmir, known for his dedication and contribution to local cricket tournaments.
