Jan 4: The Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered a major reshuffle of All India Services, transferring 49 IAS and IPS officers across the country, including key changes in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the orders, seven officers—comprising five IAS and two IPS—have been transferred out of Jammu and Kashmir, while nine officers, including six IAS and three IPS, have been posted to the Union Territory in the latest round of transfers and postings.
