SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has detailed 40 junior-scale JKAS officers for official duties in connection with the Republic Day celebrations scheduled to be held on January 26, 2026.

According to Government Order No. 56-JK (GAD) of 2026, issued by the General Administration Department on January 14, the officers have been deployed to assist with various arrangements related to the national समारोह. The order was issued in reference to a communication from the office of the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.

The officers assigned include Under Secretaries posted in key departments such as Industries and Commerce, Finance, Health and Medical Education, Tourism, Mining, Skill Development, Tribal Affairs, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Public Works, Higher Education, Agriculture Production, Revenue, Social Welfare, Information, Housing and Urban Development, and Hospitality and Protocol.

Those detailed for duty include Wakeel Ahmad Batt, Anil Kumar, Mohammad Ashraf Wani, Waqar Talib, Abdul Raqib Bhat, Mansoor Ahmad, Waheed Ahmed, Mohd Arshad, Trikansh Bhushan, Inzar Ahmed Rana, Mohib-ul-Bukhari, Raman Jandyal, Sahil Mahajan, Jahan Zaib Khan, Uttam Singh Palsar, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Vishal Kumar, Vivek Rattan, Rajinder Singh, Mohammad Iqbal Lone, Surjeet Singh, Harjinder Singh, Arshad Hussain Bhat, Nasir Bilal Shah, Mukhtar Ahmad Bhat, Dharam Paul, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, Nazir Ahmad Rather, Anil Sharma, Karan Singh, Raj Kumar, Ghulam Qadir, Tarandeep Singh, Bishan Dass, Hafiz-Ullah Peer, Syed Ishrat Pervez, Mohan Singh, Rajesh Kumar Sapolia and Ayub Farooq Bhat.

The order further directs all the nominated officers to attend a mandatory briefing session at the office of the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, on January 21, 2026, at 10.30 am.
