Police Department Orders Transfer of Several Officers in Udhampur
Udhampur, Mar 09: The police department in Udhampur has issued transfer orders for several officers in the district with immediate effect in the interest of administration.
According to an official order issued by the District Police Headquarters (DPHQ) Udhampur on March 09, 2026, multiple officers have been transferred from their current postings to new stations across the district.
As per the order, Mr. Abhijeet Saroha (IPS) has been transferred from DPO Udhampur and posted as SHO Police Station Udhampur. Inspector Purab Singh has been shifted from Police Station Udhampur and posted as IC ESU Lab Udhampur.
Similarly, Inspector Anil Kumar Sharma has been transferred from Police Station Ramnagar to DPL Udhampur as RI, while Inspector Padam Dev Singh has been moved from Police Station Kud to DPL Udhampur as PA to DySP DAR.
Among other changes, PSI Manveer Singh has been posted as SHO Police Station Ramnagar, and PSI Rhythm Sharma has been transferred from Police Station Rehambal to PP Tikri as IC.
Further, PSI Yogeshwar Manhotra has been posted as SHO Police Station Kud, while PSI Abhishek Bhatti has been transferred to PP Roun Domail as IC.
The order also states that PSI Varun Sharma will serve as IO at Police Station Udhampur, while PSI Satnam Singh has been posted as IC PP Dudu. PSI Gurvinder Singh has been transferred to Police Station Rehambal as IO, and PSI Shakti Singh will serve as IO at Police Station Udhampur.
All the officers have been directed to report at their new place of posting immediately.
