Akhnoor Anganwadi Helper Selection List 2026 Released; Check Sahyika Provisional Merit List
JAMMU: The Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Akhnoor, has released the provisional/tentative selection list for the post of Sahyika (Anganwadi Helper) advertised under Notification No. 05 of 2026 dated February 9, 2026.
According to the official notification, applications were invited for vacant posts of Sahyikas (Anganwadi Helpers) in three Anganwadi Centres under Poshan Project Akhnoor.

The notification stated that the Selection Committee constituted under Government Order No. 103-JK(SWD) of 2023 dated April 28, 2023, recommended the provisional selection list for the advertised posts.
As per the published list, the selected candidates include:
• Sobia Akhtar for Patyari AWC, Ward No. 2, Gurha Brahmana East with 57.4 points
• Mamta Devi for Bein Lehar AWC, Ward No. 5, Gangal with 46.2 points
• Nitu Sharma for Akhnoor AWC, Ward No. 6, M.C. Akhnoor with 47.8 points
According to the notification, objections or representations, if any, can be submitted within 10 days from the date of publication of the notice. After the expiry of the deadline, no claims or objections shall be entertained.
Officials further clarified that mere inclusion of a candidate’s name in the provisional list does not guarantee final selection, as it remains subject to verification and disposal of objections, if any.
