Kashmir Power Shutdown Schedule October 12–25: Check Affected Areas
SRINAGAR: Power supply to several areas of Kashmir will remain affected on different dates from October 12 to October 25, 2026, due to scheduled shutdowns of multiple 33 kV transmission lines, the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the scheduled shutdowns will affect parts of Budgam, Anantnag, Pampore, Narbal and Uri at different times.
Kashmir Power Shutdown Schedule: Date-Wise Details
October 12: Narbal and adjoining areas
Power supply to Narbal, Kawoosa, Mazhama, Lawaypora, Mazhama Railway Station, Sanoor, Radbugh, Malpora and adjoining areas will remain affected from 9 AM to 3 PM due to the scheduled shutdown of the 33 kV Shariefabad–Narbal line.
October 13: Pampore and Pahalgam areas
Pampore–BK Pora line: Power supply to BK Pora, Aribagh, Kenihama, Checkpora, Chattergam, Kultrah and adjoining areas will be affected from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Mattan–Pahalgam line: Hutmurrah, Seer, Akad, Salia, Aishmuqam, Batkoot, Pahalgam, Sallar, Aru and adjoining areas will face a power shutdown from 10 AM to 3 PM. Pahalgam AIS and GIS, along with the District Jail, are also mentioned in the shutdown notice.
October 14, 17 and 22: Anantnag areas
The shutdown of the 33 kV Wanpoh–Ashajipora Malaknag double-circuit line will affect Ashajipora, Dialgam, Rohu, Malaknag, Reshibazar, Janglat Mandi, Shirpora, Nowgam and adjoining areas from 10 AM to 3 PM on October 14, 17 and 22.
October 15: Budgam, Pampore and Uri
Budgam: Ompora, SIDCO, Housing Colony, Budgam Railway Station, NIFT and adjoining areas will face a power shutdown from 9 AM to 3 PM due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Budgam line.
Pampore–BK Pora: BK Pora, Aribagh, Kenihama, Checkpora, Chattergam, Kultrah and adjoining areas will be affected from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Uri: Salamabad, NPHC, MES, Garkote, Balkote, Bandi, Uri, Mohura, Rampur, Bani, Bijhama, Dhani and adjoining localities will face a power shutdown from 9 AM to 3 PM.
October 17: Pahalgam and Uri
Power supply to the Mattan–Pahalgam line’s affected areas will remain disrupted from 10 AM to 3 PM. The Uri line shutdown is also scheduled from 9 AM to 3 PM.
The Wanpoh–Ashajipora Malaknag line will also remain shut on this date from 10 AM to 3 PM.
October 19, 21, 23 and 25: Uri areas
Power supply to Salamabad, NPHC, MES, Garkote, Balkote, Bandi, Uri, Mohura, Rampur, Bani, Bijhama, Dhani and adjoining localities will remain affected from 9 AM to 3 PM on October 19, 21, 23 and 25 due to the scheduled shutdown of the 33 kV Uri line.
Advisory for Consumers
Residents of the affected areas have been advised to take note of the scheduled shutdown timings and make necessary arrangements in advance. Consumers should also remain attentive to any further updates from KPDCL regarding the power supply schedule.
