CBI Traps Forest Department Employee Taking ₹15,000 Bribe in Budgam; More Arrests Likely

Srinagar, June 13: A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team on Saturday trapped and arrested Bashir Ahmed Ganai, an employee of the Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department, while he was allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹15,000 in the Beerwah area of Budgam district, official sources told Kashmir Dot Com.

Sources said the accused was caught red-handed during a trap operation laid by the CBI following allegations of a demand for illegal gratification.
