Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification

  • M.F.Sc or equivalent degree in Fisheries Sciences from a recognized University/Institute.

Desirable Qualification

  • Knowledge of fisheries science, hatcheries and fish farms.
  • Experience in data compilation and report preparation.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to undertake extensive field visits and surveys.

Salary

Selected candidate will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 40,000 as per project norms.

Duration of Appointment

The appointment will initially be for six months and may be extended based on performance and project requirements. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria. Shortlisted applicants will be informed through email or phone regarding the date and venue of the in-person interview to be conducted at the Faculty of Fisheries, SKUAST-K, Rangil-Ganderbal.
