SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in several areas of Jammu and Kishtwar districts from July 12 to July 14 to facilitate maintenance and other works.

According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL Jammu, power supply to EPIP Kartholi and Industrial Area Bari Brahmana will remain affected on July 12 from 7 am to 1 pm.
Electricity supply to Nai Basti, Gajansoo and adjoining areas will also remain suspended on July 12 from 7 am to 12 noon.
On July 13, power supply to Rajinder Nagar, Paloura, EWS Colony Roop Nagar, PHE, Lower Muthi, JDA Flats, Muthi, Barnai, BSF Paloura, MES and adjoining areas will remain affected from 7 am to 12 noon.
Similarly, electricity supply to Chakrio, Pindi, Hansa, Satraiyan, Flora, BOP, Tanda, Kirpind, Seed Farm, Paper Mill, Dablehar, Badyal, Chowalla, Biaspur, Kotli, Kalyana Sai Kalan, Khanachak, Abdullian, Nikowal and adjoining areas will remain disrupted on July 14 from 6 am to 10 am.
Power supply to Pacca Danga, Parade Bazar, Link Road, Purani Mandi and adjoining areas** will also remain affected on July 12 from 8 am to 12 noon.
Meanwhile, the Superintending Engineer, O and M Circle, JPDCL Kishtwar, said electricity supply to Prem Nagar, Kandote, Sharote, Pernote, Khellani, Bhalla, Bhada, Dugli, Darfda, Lairote and adjoining areas will remain suspended on July 12 and 13 from 7 am to 1 pm.
In addition, power supply to Workshop, Huller Pohie and adjoining areas will remain affected on July 12 from 9 am to 12 noon.
JPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to plan accordingly and has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.
