Kashmir Heatwave Alert: Temperatures May Touch 35°C
Srinagar, Aug 26: Temperatures are likely to climb further across the Kashmir Valley over the next few days, with Srinagar and other plains expected to witness hot and dry conditions.
According to the latest weather outlook, maximum daytime temperatures could approach 35°C, particularly on Friday and Saturday, when the heat is expected to be at its strongest across several plains.
The weather is likely to remain mostly dry and warmer than usual through the end of August, although isolated local showers cannot be completely ruled out.
Residents are advised to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the afternoon heat.
