GMC Srinagar Revised Tentative Seniority List 2026 Released
Srinagar: Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar has released the revised tentative seniority list of the Electric Unit of GMC Srinagar and its Associated Hospitals, as it stood on 01 July 2026.
The revised seniority list has been issued through Notification No. 15 dated 24 August 2026.
Revised Seniority List Details
The earlier tentative seniority list of the Electric Unit was notified vide Notification No. AH-08 of 2026 dated 16 July 2026, inviting objections and representations from members of the concerned unit within 15 days.
According to the latest notification, no objections or representations were received within the stipulated period. Meanwhile, Mr. Jahangir Ahmad Shah Faqeer, Junior Electrician, successfully completed his promotion period and has been added to the seniority list under Annexure-B.
The revised tentative seniority list has now been notified as follows:
- Annexure-A: Electric Foreman, Pay Level-6 (₹35,900–₹1,13,500) and Senior Electrician, Pay Level-6 (₹35,400–₹1,12,400).
- Annexure-B: Electrician, Pay Level-4 (₹25,500–₹81,100) and Junior Electrician/Lineman, Pay Level-2 (₹19,900–₹63,200).
Seven-Day Period for Objections
Any official who is aggrieved by the service details or seniority position assigned in the revised tentative seniority list can submit their objection or representation through the proper channel.
The representation must be supported by sufficient documentary proof and submitted within seven days from the date of issuance of the notification. Objections received after the stipulated period will not be entertained.
List to Be Circulated Among Concerned Employees
The Controlling Officers have been directed to circulate copies of the revised tentative seniority list among members of the concerned cadre working at their respective establishments and furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) in this regard.
The revised list will also be available on the official website of Government Medical College Srinagar.
The seniority list will remain subject to the outcome of any writ petition pending before a competent court of law.
Verification of Date of Birth and Appointment
The date of birth and date of first appointment of officials mentioned in the seniority list will remain subject to further verification from their service books and matriculation certificates issued by the competent authority.
