AWH Hiranagar Final Merit List & Select List Released for 27 Posts
The Final Merit List and Final Select List of Sahayikas (AWHs) for Project Hiranagar have been released following the completion of the selection and scrutiny process.
Applications were invited through Advertisement Notice No. 08 of 2026 dated June 27, 2026, for 28 vacant posts of Sahayikas (AWHs) under Project Hiranagar.
However, the post of AWH for AWC Gurah Mundian C was withheld after an issue regarding the ward number of the concerned Anganwadi Centre required rectification. As a result, the selection process was conducted for 27 vacant posts.
A total of 58 candidates applied against these 27 posts. Their application forms and merit particulars were scrutinized by the Selection Committee on August 27, 2026.
The Provisional/Tentative Merit List and Select List were subsequently published in State Times on September 22, 2026. The department received one objection concerning AWC Chakra, but the Selection Committee found no merit in the objection and disposed of it.
Following the completion of the objection process, the Selection Committee approved the Final Merit List and Final Select List in accordance with the applicable government orders.

Objection/Grievance Window
Candidates or other concerned persons having any grievance or objection regarding the final merit/select list may file an appeal before the Deputy Commissioner, Kathua within 10 days from the date of issuance of the notification/list.
No grievance or objection will be entertained after the expiry of the 10-day period.
