BSF Personnel Dies of Suspected Heart Attack at Panthachowk Camp in Srinagar

: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel posted at Panthachowk in Srinagar died on Thursday after suffering a suspected heart attack, officials said.

The deceased has been identified as Ja Kishan, a member of the 60 Battalion of the BSF, stationed at the BSF Camp in Panthachowk. Officials said the personnel suddenly collapsed following a cardiac episode at the camp.

He was immediately shifted from Panthachowk to Ujala Hospital, Nowgam, in an unconscious condition. However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead on arrival. [KNT]
