Power Supply to Remain Disrupted in Several Jammu Areas on January 22, 25, 29 & 31

SRINAGAR: Power supply to several parts of Jammu will remain disrupted on different dates later this month due to scheduled maintenance and repair works, the Chief Engineer (Distribution), Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), said on Wednesday.

According to the official notice, electricity supply to the 33KV MES feeder will remain affected on January 22 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Similarly, power supply to Rehari, Karan Nagar, Amphalla, Lok Bhawan and adjoining areas will be interrupted on January 25 between 10 am and 4 pm.

The department further said that electricity supply to Transport Nagar, Narwal, Railway Colony, parts of Channi Himmat, Malik Market, Upper Chowadi, Matto Colony, Bathindi, Sunjwan, Boria and nearby localities will remain affected on January 29 from 10 am to 2 pm.

In addition, the power supply to Burnal, Jourian, Muthi Maira, Palwan Camp, Rakh Muthi and adjoining areas will remain disrupted on January 29 and 31 from 9 am to 3 pm.

Consumers have been advised to make necessary arrangements in advance to avoid inconvenience during the scheduled outages.
