DSEK Places 11 Head Assistants as In-Charge Section Officers Across Kashmir
Srinagar, June 4: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has ordered the placement of 11 Head Assistants as In-Charge (I/C) Section Officers in various offices across the Kashmir division.
According to Order No. 215-DSEK of 2026 dated June 4, 2026, the placements have been made against available vacancies for a period of six months or until the posts are filled on a regular basis through the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), whichever is earlier.
The order states that the officials will continue to draw their existing pay and grade while receiving charge allowance as admissible under rules.
The following Head Assistants have been adjusted as In-Charge Section Officers:
- Gowhar Hussain, presently posted at DIET Pampore, adjusted at CEO Kulgam.
- Suneel Kumar Fotedar, presently posted at ZEO Qazigund, adjusted at DIET Kulgam.
- Mohd Shafi Shah, presently posted at CEO Pulwama, adjusted at DIET Pampore.
- Hilal Ahmad Check, presently posted at ZEO Shopian, adjusted at CEO Shopian.
- Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, presently posted at CEO Kupwara, adjusted at DSEK.
- Iqbal Ahmad Beigh, presently posted at CEO Budgam, adjusted at CEO Pulwama.
- Abdul Rahman Rather, presently posted at ZEO Trehgam, adjusted at CEO Kupwara.
- Manzoor Ahmad Laigru, presently posted at CEO Srinagar, adjusted at DSEK.
- Abid Ibrahim, presently posted at ZEO Mattan, adjusted at DIET Anantnag.
- Javid Bashir, presently posted at CEO Baramulla, adjusted at CEO Bandipora.
- Mohmad Abdullah Rather, presently posted at ZEO Shadimarg, adjusted at CEO Budgam.
The Directorate clarified that the arrangement is purely temporary and will remain in force until regular promotions are made or further orders are issued.
The move is expected to strengthen administrative functioning in various educational offices and institutions across Kashmir by ensuring that key supervisory positions remain operational.
