Finance Department Assigns Additional Charge to Two Engineers in J&K PWD
Srinagar, June 9: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has assigned additional responsibilities to two senior engineers in the Public Works (R&B) Department to ensure the smooth functioning of departmental operations across various divisions.
According to Government Order No. 196-PW (R&B) of 2026 dated June 8, Er. Arit Gupta, Superintending Engineer, R&B Circle South Jammu, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Superintending Engineer, R&B Circle Samba-Kathua, in addition to his existing duties. The arrangement will continue until further orders from the government.
In another administrative arrangement, Er. Yashpal Bhagat, Executive Engineer, PW (R&B) Division Gandoh, has been assigned the additional charge of Executive Engineer, PMGSY Division Thatri, alongside his current responsibilities. This arrangement will also remain in effect until further orders.
The decision has been taken to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of departmental works and effective administration in the concerned divisions.
