The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has temporarily promoted ten Civil Judges (Junior Division) to the higher rank of Civil Judge (Senior Division).

This is an ad-hoc (temporary) promotion based on their seniority and work performance.

  3. Shri Shabir Ahmad Naik
  4. Shri Altaf Ahmad Mir
  5. Ms. Meera Bangote
  6. Ms. Assma Chowdhary
  7. Ms. Urvashi Rains
  8. Shri Anjeet Singh
  9. Ms. Suhasni Vasistha
  10. Shri Tarun Mahajan

Important Conditions:

· This promotion is temporary and does not guarantee a permanent promotion.
· They may be sent back to their old posts if permanent positions are not available.
