Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor:
- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
- First-class or equivalent in preceding degrees.
- Consistently good academic record.
Experience Required
Professor – Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 4 years as an Associate Professor in reputed institutions like IITs. Must have a strong research portfolio (Ph.D. guidance, publications, patents).
Associate Professor – Minimum 6 years of experience, with at least 3 years as an Assistant Professor. Strong research publications & Ph.D. guidance required.
Assistant Professor Grade I – Minimum 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience in teaching/research. Age below 35 years preferred.
Assistant Professor Grade II – Fresh Ph.D. holders who meet all other criteria but lack post-Ph.D. experience. Eligible for promotion after experience.
Visiting/Retired Professors (Contractual) – Retired faculty from CFTIs or experienced professionals with proven teaching & research expertise.

Selection Process
The selection process includes three stages:
Application Shortlisting – Based on academic qualifications, research, and teaching experience.
Presentation (Stage 2) – Shortlisted candidates must present their research and teaching interests. International candidates may present online.
Personal Interview (Stage 3) – Selected candidates will be called for an in-person interview, where final selection is based on research, academic credentials, and performance.
