Eligibility Criteria for DoPT Recruitment 2025

Deputy Director (Office Management)

  • Eligibility:
    Officers of the Central Government holding:
    • Analogous posts on a regular basis, or
    • Five years’ service in PB-3 (Rs. 15600–39100) with Grade Pay Rs. 5400 or Level-10, or
    • Six years’ service in PB-2 (Rs. 9300–34800) with Grade Pay Rs. 4800 or Level-08.
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Essential: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
    • 05 years of experience in Central Government rules and procedures.
    • Desirable: Master’s Degree and a Diploma in Public Administration with one year of teaching experience.

Assistant Director

  • Eligibility:
    Officers of the Central Government holding:
    • Analogous posts on a regular basis, or
    • Two years’ service in Level-07 with relevant experience.
  • Qualifications:
    • Subordinate Accounts Service Examination pass or training in Cash and Accounts at ISTM.
    • 05 years of experience in Cash, Accounts, and Budget work.

Age Limit:

  • The upper age limit for both posts is 56 years as of the application’s closing date.

Tenure for DoPT Recruitment 2025

  • Deputy Director: Maximum deputation tenure is 5 years.
  • Assistant Director: Maximum deputation tenure is 3 years.
