IUST Announces JRF Eligibility List, Interview on October 27
Srinagar: The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, has released the provisional eligibility list and interview notice for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a research project at its Watson–Crick Centre for Molecular Medicine.
According to the university notice dated October 22, 2026, the interview for the advertised position will be held on October 27, 2026 (Tuesday), at 10:00 AM at the Office Chamber of the Dean Research, IUST, Awantipora.
The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement Notice No. 02 of 2026, dated September 29, 2026. One post was advertised under the research project titled “Investigate the Therapeutic and Chemo-Sensitizing Efficacy of Unani Pharmacopoeial Formulation Dawa-Ul-Kurkum on Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma.”

The university has published the eligibility status of applicants who applied for the position. The provisional list includes candidates declared eligible for the interview as well as applicants marked ineligible.
Several applicants have been declared ineligible because they did not submit a hard copy of their application form, as specified in the official notice.

Documents Required for Interview
Candidates declared eligible must appear for the interview according to the notified schedule and bring their original certificates and testimonials for verification.
These include documents supporting their educational qualifications, date of birth, NET/GATE/SLET qualification, wherever applicable, and other relevant credentials.
The university has clarified that the eligibility status is provisional and will be subject to verification of original documents at the time of the interview.
