Jammu and Kashmir: Labourer Dies After Falling from Under-Construction Flyover
SRINAGAR: A labourer died after accidentally falling from an under-construction flyover near Majalta Morh in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, officials said.
Officials said that the incident occurred during ongoing construction work on the flyover stretch from Majalta Morh to Majalta, when the labourer lost balance and fell from the arch of the bridge, sustaining critical injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Vikram Kumar, son of Sher Singh. He was shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, registered a case and initiated investigation. (JKNS)
