Jammu and Kashmir Police Orders Transfer and Posting of Four DSPs: SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters has ordered the immediate transfer of four Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) in the interest of administration.
According to Order No. 1404 of 2026 issued by DIG (Personnel) Mubassir Latifi, IPS, Tahir Amin Sheikh (PID No. KPS125759) has been transferred from DSP DAR Jammu to SDPO Domana. Dheeraj Singh Katoch (PID No. KPS125836) has been moved from SDPO Border Kathua to DSP DAR Jammu.
Mudassar Hussain (PID No. KPS125805) has been transferred from SDPO Domana to DSP 4 JKAP, while Karan Kumar (PID No. EXJ006227) has been shifted from DYSP CID CI Jammu (JIC) to SDPO Border Kathua.
The order specifies that Mudassar Hussain will assume his new posting after the expiry of his earned leave. During this period, one post of DSP 4 JKAP will remain attached with the office of SSP Jammu for the drawal of his salary.
All officers have been directed to be relieved forthwith. The transfers have been approved by the Director General of Police.(SOURCE: KASHMIR LIFE)
