.Jammu University Recruitment 2024:The University of Jammu has issued an official notification inviting applications for 07 posts, including Law Officer, Patent Officer, Museum-cum-Art Gallery Officer, Scientific Officer, Security Officer, Liaison Officer, and Draftsman. These positions are available across different campuses, offering pay scales ranging from ₹29,200 to ₹1,66,700.
As per the official notification, the upper age limit for these posts is 40 years (with age relaxation as per rules). Selected candidates will be appointed on a permanent or contractual basis depending on the job requirements. The selection process includes a screening test, skill test, and/or interview. Post-wise Educational Qualification and Experience
Law Officer: Graduation in Law (3 years or 5 years integrated course) with at least 50% marks and 3 years of experience as a practicing advocate or Law Officer.
Patent Officer: Graduation in Law with at least 50% marks and 3 years of experience in Intellectual Property (IP) Law.
Museum-cum-Art Gallery Officer: Master’s Degree in Museology with at least 55% marks and 2 years of relevant experience.
Scientific Officer (USIC): M.E./M.Tech. in Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience; preference for Ph.D. holders.
Security Officer: Graduation with prior service as Ex-serviceman (Captain rank) or Ex-Police (Dy. S.P.).
Liaison Officer: MA/M.Ed. or equivalent with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Draftsman: 2-year Diploma in Draftsmanship from a recognized institute.
