SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfer of an Accounts Officer posted with the Jammu and Kashmir Power Corporation Limited (JKPCL), while assigning the additional charge of the post to another officer with immediate effect.

The order has been issued by the Finance Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, as part of an administrative reshuffle involving officers of the Accounts and Treasuries cadre.

Mudasir Zaman Transferred from JKPCL Kashmir

According to Government Order No. 282-F of 2026, issued by the Finance Department on September 8, 2026, Mudasir Zaman, who was serving as Accounts Officer, JKPCL, Kashmir, has been transferred.

He has been posted as Accounts Officer in the office of the Director General, Accounts and Treasuries, against an available post.

The transfer takes effect immediately, as specified in the government order.

Rakhshan Peerzada Given Additional Charge

The Finance Department has also assigned additional responsibility to Rakhshan Peerzada, presently serving as Pay and Accounts Officer in the office of the Chief Engineer, Generation and Transmission (PDC), Srinagar.

Peerzada will hold the additional charge of Accounts Officer, JKPCL, Kashmir, until further orders.

This means the officer will continue to perform his existing responsibilities while also looking after the Accounts Officer post at JKPCL, Kashmir.
