J&K Govt Orders Transfer and Adjustment of 34 In-Charge Assistant Executive Engineers
Srinagar, June 7: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Jammu and Kashmir Government’s Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj has ordered the immediate transfer and adjustment of 34 In-charge Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs).

According to a government order, the transfers have been effected following the integration of officers from the Public Works (R&B) Department into the Rural Engineering Wing (REW).
As part of the exercise, three long-serving In-charge AEEs — Noor Mohammad Magray, Ghulam Hassan Wagay and Sonia Nayyar — who had served in the Rural Engineering Wing for more than 12 years, have been repatriated to their parent Public Works (R&B) Department.
The order also provides postings to newly promoted In-charge AEEs. Manmohan Krishan has been posted to the REW Sub-Division Akhnoor, while Syed Adil Aga has been posted to the REW Sub-Division Tral.
The government has directed that all officers covered under the transfer and adjustment order shall be deemed relieved with immediate effect and are required to report to their new places of posting without delay.
The move is aimed at streamlining administrative functioning and strengthening the operational efficiency of the Rural Engineering Wing across Jammu and Kashmir.
