J&K Weather Update: Intermittent Rainfall to Continue, Says MeT: SRINAGAR: Rainfall activity across Jammu and Kashmir is expected to remain fairly widespread over the next 36 hours, with intermittent spells of rain and brief breaks, according to the latest weather forecast.
A temporary easing in precipitation is likely from late morning to late afternoon today, after which rain and thundershower activity is expected to redevelop across several areas. Overall rainfall is projected to remain light to moderate, though isolated locations may experience short spells of heavy thundershowers.
On Tuesday, weather conditions are expected to remain largely stable during the first half of the day. However, thundershowers may develop in parts of the region during the afternoon and evening hours.
Wednesday is likely to remain predominantly dry across most areas. Nevertheless, higher altitude regions may still witness isolated and brief thundershower activity, particularly during the late afternoon or evening.
Meanwhile, in view of the expected rainfall and gusty winds, the Meteorological Department has advised farmers to suspend agricultural operations today as a precautionary measure to prevent potential damage.(SOURCE: KASHMIR LIFE)
