According to the latest weather outlook, the first spell is expected to remain relatively weak, with no major weather activity anticipated across the Union Territory.
Dry Weather Likely Until November 9
After the possible rainfall and snowfall around November 5, weather conditions are expected to remain mostly dry until November 9, providing a temporary break from precipitation across the Kashmir Valley and Jammu division.
However, another weak to moderate Western Disturbance is likely to influence Jammu and Kashmir on November 10 and 11.
The system may result in light rainfall in some areas of Kashmir and Jammu, while higher reaches of north and central Kashmir could receive fresh snowfall. Isolated thundershowers are also possible during this period.

Mukhtar Ahmad said temperatures across Jammu and Kashmir are gradually declining and are expected to fall further in the coming days as winter conditions strengthen.
He added that winter has almost set in across the region, with shallow fog beginning to appear over plains during morning hours.
Slightly hazy weather conditions have also been observed in some areas, and visibility may be affected during the morning hours in the coming days and weeks.

Travellers have also been advised to follow official traffic advisories while travelling, particularly in areas that may experience changing weather conditions.
People living in higher-altitude areas should remain updated about weather forecasts, especially during the expected precipitation spells.
Residents are advised to keep track of the latest weather bulletins as temperatures continue to decline across Jammu and Kashmir.
