During the upgrade period, power supply is expected to be reduced by nearly 10 MW. JKPTCL officials said rotational load shedding will be implemented across 33kV and 11kV feeders to balance the temporary shortfall.
Areas expected to face intermittent disruptions include Mandal, Iqhala, Padyarna, Padar, Dangdoru, Hatta, Dedpath, Sarthal, and Malipath.

Authorities have urged consumers to plan their electricity usage during the shutdown period and assured that the ongoing capacity augmentation will significantly improve reliability and efficiency once completed.
