Srinagar, Nov 11: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns across several areas of the Jammu division on Tuesday, November 12, to carry out essential maintenance and upgradation works.
the outages will affect multiple localities to ensure safe and uninterrupted power supply after the completion of necessary repair and maintenance operations.
Areas Affected and Timings
As per the official statement, the electricity supply to Sangaldan, Gool, and adjoining areas will remain suspended from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Likewise, Biaspur, Kotli, Kalyana, Sai Kalan, Khanachack, Abdullian, Nikowal, and nearby regions will witness power cuts from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Officials clarified that these power interruptions are part of routine maintenance aimed at ensuring a more reliable and efficient power distribution network across Jammu. “Power will be restored immediately after completion of the scheduled works,” the department assured.
