SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced planned power outages across several areas of Srinagar and other areas on December 14, 2025, owing to maintenance work on two major 33 KV lines.

J&K PDD Orders Major Placement of 11 Engineers as I/C Superintending Engineers
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 33 KV Exhibition line will remain shut from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., while the 33 KV Pampore–SIDCO line will be shut from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The shutdowns will disrupt electricity supply to Batamaloo, Baranpather, the KPDCL Chief Office (Distribution), HSHS, Exhibition, IE Khrew, and the cement plants of Khrew and Wuyan, along with adjoining areas.
KPDCL said the outages are necessary to facilitate essential operational and maintenance work and advised consumers to plan accordingly.
