KPDCL Announces Power Shutdown Schedule for Multiple Areas : SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in parts of Budgam district on April 22, 2026.
According to Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown of the 33 kV Budgam SIDCO Tapline will be carried out due to maintenance work. As a result, power supply will remain affected from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM.
Areas likely to be impacted include Ompora, Housing Colony, NIFT, SIDCO, Sheikhpora, Bathar, and adjoining localities.
Authorities have advised consumers to make necessary arrangements in view of the temporary disruption and assured that supply will be restored immediately after the completion of maintenance work.(SOURCE: KASHMIR LIFE)
