Promotion Update: Qazi Abdul Qayoom Becomes Director Prosecution in Jammu and Kashmir : SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday approved the promotion of Qazi Abdul Qayoom as Director Prosecution in the Prosecution Department.
According to an order issued by the Home Department, the promotion has been made on the recommendations of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission. Prior to his promotion, Qayoom was serving as Joint Director Prosecution.
The order states that he will assume charge of the post of Director Prosecution with prospective effect.
Qayoom has been serving in the Prosecution Department and brings administrative experience to the position.
