SKIMS Faculty Members Promoted Under Assessment Merit Promotion Scheme

The Health and Medical Education Department has taken an important decision regarding the selection and promotion of faculty members at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, Srinagar, and SKIMS Medical College and Hospital (MCH), Bemina.

The faculty members from various disciplines have been considered under the Assessment Merit Promotion Scheme (AMPS) for elevation to the next higher grade or post.

The promotion process is aimed at recognising the professional experience, academic contributions, performance and merit of eligible faculty members. Such promotions are an important part of strengthening the teaching and healthcare system at the institutions.
