SKIMS Srinagar Recruitment 2025:Srinagar, Oct 22 (Times of Kashmir): The Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar has invited applications for several temporary project-based positions under the DBT-Government of India, Ministry of Science & Technology funded project titled “Augmentation of Advanced Technology at SKIMS Srinagar through DBT-SAHAJ-Infrastructure Programme.” The recruitment is being conducted by the Department of Clinical Research, SKIMS.
This is a great opportunity for candidates from the life sciences and medical technology fields to work on a national-level research project in Jammu and Kashmir.
SKIMS Recruitment 2025 – Vacancy Details & Eligibility
1. Project Scientist-II (01 Post)
Qualification:
- 1st Class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences with PhD from a recognized university, or
- 2nd Class Master’s Degree with PhD in Life Sciences and at least one year of experience.
Desirable: Experience in managing large or multi-centre research projects.
Remuneration: As per DBT guidelines.
2. Research Associate-I (01 Post)
Qualification:
- 1st Class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering & Technology, or
- 2nd Class Master’s Degree with PhD in Life Sciences / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering & Technology with one-year experience.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in a related field.
Remuneration: As per DBT guidelines.
3. Lab Technician (02 Posts)
Qualification:
- 10+2 in Science with BSc MLT or equivalent, or
- 10+2 in Science with a 2-year diploma in Medical Lab Technology and 1-year relevant experience.
Desirable: Higher qualification (BSc MLT / MSc MLT) and previous healthcare or research experience preferred.
Remuneration: As per DBT guidelines.
4. Project Assistant (01 Post)
Qualification: Graduate in a science-relevant subject from a recognized university or college.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a recognized institution.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in healthcare or research-related work.
Remuneration: As per DBT guidelines.
