In the first of three One-Day Internationals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday, India opener Smriti Mandhana achieved a remarkable half century against South Africa, marking her 7000 international runs in all formats.
The left-hander is the second-highest run scorer for India, behind only former skipper Mithali Raj (10868 runs). Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain and teammate, is a close third with 6870 runs in all formats.
