KATHUA, Oct 11 — A 17-year-old girl tragically lost her life after being struck by an unidentified vehicle near Dream Park in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir late Friday night, according to KNC.
The victim, identified as Kritika Pansotra, daughter of Ram Pal and a resident of Kathua, was found lying injured on the roadside following the collision with her scooty. She was immediately shifted to GMC Kathua, where doctors declared her brought dead. Her body has been moved to the GMC mortuary for post-mortem examination.
Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident and launched a formal investigation to identify the vehicle involved and determine the exact circumstances of the accident. Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist in the investigation.
