Official Winter Vacation Schedule Announced for Kashmir & Winter Zones of Jammu
The Jammu and Kashmir Government has officially announced the winter vacation schedule for all Government and recognized Private Schools across the Kashmir Division and winter zone(s) of Jammu Division, as per Government Order No. 665–JK (Edu) of 2025 dated 25.11.2025.
As per the order, schools up to the Higher Secondary level will follow a class-wise vacation schedule throughout the winter period.

The government has instructed that all teaching faculty must remain available for academic activities during the vacation period and report back to their respective institutions on 20 February 2026 to prepare for the reopening of schools. Any teacher or head of institution found violating the schedule will face strict action as per rules.
Class-wise Winter Vacation Schedule 2025–26
Pre-Primary (Balvatika): 26 November 2025 to 28 February 2026
Classes 1st to 8th: 1 December 2025 to 28 February 2026
Classes 9th to 12th: 11 December 2025 to 22 February 2026
