SRINAGAR: A 45-year-old motorcyclist was killed on Monday after his bike collided with an oil tanker near the Toyota showroom in Parimpora, Srinagar, officials said.

According to an official, a tanker bearing registration number JK02AG-9319 collided with the motorcycle near the showroom, causing multiple injuries to the rider.
The injured motorcyclist was immediately rushed to JVC Hospital, Bemina, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Bashir Ahmad, 45, son of Ali Mohammad Khumani, a resident of Zainakote, Srinagar.
